Fresh from the thrilling ABB FIA FORMULA E in London our EV expert shares his insider’s perspective

OPINION: Season 10 of the ABB FIA FORMULA E came to an end at a sold-out double-header finale at Excel London.

Indeed, it is 10 years already of the electric Championship. Formula E has showcased innovation, exciting battles and a new twist to the world of motorsport.

The current Gen3 cars continue to provide adrenaline-filled fun for the supporters worldwide.

It’s a pity that South Africa did not feature in season 10 and is not listed in season 11 either, after a great spectacle they put up in season 9 in Cape Town.

The season 10 results saw Pascal Wehrlein of TAG HEAUR PORSCHE take the driver’s championship, with Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy of Jaguar TCS racing settling for second and third place respectively.

The Jaguar TCS racing team took both the Team’s and Constructor’s titles.

Electric vehicle new developments was also at full display at final showpiece in London.
