Speaker ApplicationsApply to Speak

We are inviting practitioners actively delivering energy projects, transactions and infrastructure across Zambia and the SADC region. This is a working forum focused on real-world execution — not theory or promotion.

A Programme Built Around Real Market Activity

This is not a general industry platform. The programme reflects the real transition underway in Zambia’s power sector from a centrally managed system to a more commercially driven market shaped by industrial demand, power trading and infrastructure constraints.

We are seeking speakers directly involved in delivering projects, structuring transactions and managing energy supply.

What the Programme Covers

The 2026 programme is structured around the key areas shaping Zambia’s evolving energy market:

  • Power system context and market reform execution
  • Industrial demand and buyer behaviour
  • Project development and technology deployment
  • Financing, bankability and commercial structures
  • Implementation and operational case studies

Who Should Apply

We are seeking practitioners directly involved in delivering projects, managing energy supply or structuring transactions:

  • Large industrial energy users
  • Utilities, system operators and regulators
  • Power traders and energy aggregators
  • Independent power producers and project developers
  • Transmission and infrastructure investors
  • Banks, DFIs and financing institutions

Note: Technology providers must demonstrate involvement in real project delivery.

Submission Requirements

  • Non-commercial content (no product or service promotion)
  • First-hand experience (project, transaction or operations)
  • Quantifiable detail (capacity, cost, timelines, performance)
  • Clear relevance to Zambia or the SADC region

Submissions that are conceptual or promotional will not be accepted.
