Pizzaro Lukhanda
Senior Underwriter responsible for Southern Africa
Pizzaro Lukhanda joined African Trade & Investment Development Insurance (ATIDI) in July 2009 as an Underwriter.
Mr. Lukhanda is currently based in ATIDI’s Southern Africa Regional Office hosted in Lusaka, Zambia, where he is focusing on developing a market for and underwriting credit and political risk insurance in Southern Africa.
Prior to joining ATIDI, Mr. Lukhanda held senior level positions with Standard Bank and NICO General Insurance Company Limited in Malawi. He has also lectured on Risk Management and Insurance Underwriting Processes at Malawi College of Accountancy.
A graduate of the University of Malawi, Mr. Lukhanda is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of the UK. He holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School in Scotland.
