Teboho Makhabane is Head of ESG and Impact at Sanlam Investments. Impact Investing professional who is passionate about directing investment capital to address the most pressing social and environmental issues in society. The growing inequality, poverty, climate change and many other social and environmental issues provide an opportunity for private capital to close the financing gap in moving the global community towards achieving the sustainable development goals (SDG’s) and at a national level the NDPs. As an ESG and Impact investing practitioner she monitors and advises on responsible investing. She holds a BCom Honours in Financial Analysis degree from the University of Cape Town and a MCom in Development Finance from UCT Business School.
