Engr. (Dr. Mrs.) Janet Adeyemi is a distinguished mining professional, policy strategist, and sustainability advocate with extensive experience across the extractive sector, governance, and international development. A recipient of the “100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining” (2017) recognition, she is widely acknowledged as a Mining Elite and thought leader in natural resource governance.
She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, and the Institute of Management, and a registered member of COREN and COMEG. With academic training spanning geology, engineering, public administration, mining governance, and law, she has served in Nigeria’s legislature and executive arms of government.
As Founder of Women in Mining Nigeria (WIMIN), she contributes to global mining policy through several international advisory and governance platforms.
