SharkSafe Barrier™(SSB) is an eco-friendly shark-specific product designed to protect people from sharks. The SSB prevents the loss of human and marine life, where local tourism is hampered by shark attacks, by keeping sharks and people physically separated from each other and creating safe bathing and surfing areas for citizens and tourists. SSB has been tried and tested and is already protecting two beaches. We focus on providing tailor-made solutions that prioritise beach user safety and reduce shark-human conflict, whilst safeguarding the integrity of valuable marine ecosystems. We believe that the SSB can solve the problem of shark-related accidents, whilst leading the way towards non-lethal alternatives.
