Overview

Restoring our degraded rangelands requires upscaled integrated approaches, with modern technologies. Only through the wide participations of mass data collection by farmers and land owners (citizen scientists) can we build agri-ecological models accurate enough to be of use to farmers and land owners for improved decision making in agricultural progression and land restoration. The result enables learning about increasing Soil Organic Carbon and Biodiversity, and provides the platform for payment for ecosystem services, as facilitation for carbon sequestered and biodiversity increase. This will increase sustainable production resulting in improved food security, leading to improved social security and thus improved political stability.
