Bankable feasibilityThe PAM Africa GreenGrid Initiative aims to establish a 1 MW interconnected minigrid in Tundun Wada, Kano, a community predominantly comprised of rice farmers. This project will provide reliable, sustainable energy, enhancing the livelihoods of local farmers.
Powered by renewable energy sources such as solar, the minigrid will offer consistent electricity for processing equipment, and storage facilities, reducing post-harvest losses and increasing crop yields. To optimize energy usage and minimize collection losses faced by distribution companies (DISCOs), we will integrate PAM AI technology. This smart system will analyze consumption patterns, ensuring efficient power distribution while facilitating timely billing and payment collections.
Community engagement is central to our approach. We will work closely with local stakeholders to tailor the minigrid to the specific energy needs of Tundun Wada, fostering ownership and ensuring long-term sustainability.
