ImplementationWe plan to establish an electrolyser BoP (Balance of Plant) manufacturing facility in the Western Cape. The facility will produce electrolyser systems, leveraging the region’s strategic location, robust infrastructure, and access to international shipping routes, making it an ideal manufacturing hub.
Our goal is to develop a state-of-the-art plant that assembles advanced electrolysers using Industry 4.0 practices to maximize efficiency. This project aims to position South Africa as a leading green hydrogen developer, accelerating the transition to renewable fuels, promoting energy diversification, and supporting sustainability.
The facility is expected to employ around 250 people, contributing to local economic growth, skills development, and job creation. Local production will stimulate economic activity and enhance South Africa’s competitiveness in the global green hydrogen market.
