The Hamster Energy System is a future energy system that couples EV charging with solar home systems to build an ecosystem of distributed energy capabilities at the edge of the grid. It is a flexible energy system with a deep-tech platform that enables participants to trade energy, and monitor and manage their distributed energy devices. Solar energy generated on rooftops of participants is aggregated into a central battery system (CBS) connected to a rapid EV charger. This provides rapid charging service to EVs and also acts as a backup for homes.
