Pre-ImplementationEden Agriculture Investment and Development is implementing a climate-smart desert farming project in Minia, Egypt, designed to advance Africa’s transition toward a green and sustainable economy. The project transforms undeveloped desert land into a regenerative agricultural ecosystem through modern irrigation, renewable energy integration, and digital farm management tools that promote efficient use of water, energy, and natural resources.
By adopting sustainable and nature-positive farming practices, the project enhances soil health, improves long-term climate resilience, and supports biodiversity. The model strengthens food security, reduces environmental footprint, and aligns with the Summit’s priority of accelerating low-carbon, resource-efficient agricultural development across the continent.
Eden’s approach contributes to a circular and inclusive green economy by creating stable rural employment, enabling value-added agricultural processing, and supporting export-oriented value chains. The project also aims to become a replicable model for climate-resilient desert agriculture in Africa.
Eden seeks strategic partnerships with green economy investors to expand renewable energy deployment, scale smart agriculture technologies, and accelerate the growth of a fully sustainable and climate-aligned agricultural hub in Upper Egypt.
