ImplementationThe Carbon Disclosure SA (CDSA) Solar PV Carbon Credit Grouped Project aggregates the greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution reduction achieved by solar PV installations. All installations should be based in South Africa and have a capacity of less than 15 MW per installation. The aggregated GHG reduction is transformed into Carbon Credits and sold into the domestic Carbon Tax system to reduce the Carbon Tax liability of corporates exposed to this tax. The project commenced in 2023 and has been successfully registered under the Verra Carbon Credit system.
