Overview

Bridge Merchant Enterprise is a climate-smart agritech startup transforming Africa’s agricultural value chain through innovation, inclusion, and sustainability. We operate a decentralized aggregation and logistics model that connects smallholder farmers, especially women and youth, to markets, post-harvest infrastructure, and financial services via our digital platform, Aladinn Agro. By digitizing transactions and farmer data, we ensure traceability, improve market visibility, and promote financial inclusion.

Our project aims to empower 100,000 smallholder farmers in Nigeria with access to climate-resilient seeds, sustainable farming inputs, water solutions, and agricultural training. We are also scaling our network of over 1,300 rural youth agents to 10,000 to deepen community-level impact, reduce post-harvest losses, and boost incomes. In 2024, we have reached 1,000 farmers with drought-tolerant inputs and training, reducing waste by 40% and increasing earnings by up to 30%
