The Panafrican Equipment is a recognized leader in providing Komatsu, Metso, Ammann and AGCO equipment and aftersales support solutions in the markets we operate, with expertise in the large mining, light and alluvial mining, cement and aggregates, agriculture and forestry, civil and infrastructure and power and energy sectors.
We strive to understand our customers’ needs and deliver fit-for-purpose, tailored solutions that focus on higher productivity and performance, improved reliability, and machine availability, and reducing life of asset cost and cost per material movement.
Where in Africa are you active and where are you looking to for growth?
We operate in various countries across African, we are in Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Rwanda and Burundi with held office in Dubai looking after all the regions.
How important is the Nigerian market for your organization?
Nigeria’s economic potential as Africa largest economy continues to attract global attention, with urgent need for infrastructure development and many untapped natural resources, we believe there is room for growth, and we are strategically positioned to work with organizations in helping Nigeria to fulfill her potential.
How excited are you about the burgeoning mining sector in Nigeria and what does this mean for your business there?
We are excited about the growth of the mining sector in Nigeria. We also believe that there is a need to get it right from the beginning, using the right equipment, because mining is a long-term business.
Which mining projects are you involved in as a supplier in Nigeria?
Panafrican Equipment has been working with all the major mining organizations like Dangote and BUA in Nigeria and various smaller companies in the mining sector. In terms of equipment supplies and support, we are happy to increase our Komatsu equipment in the country in all the different mining, construction and agriculture markets.
What does corporate social responsibility mean to Panafrican Group? Tell us more about your company’s philosophy and the that you support.
Panafrican Equipment recognizes her responsibility as a corporate citizen towards its stakeholders and the communities within which it operates. Panafrican Equipment have taken an active role in Nigeria Mining Week from inception, the improvement over the year is commendable. We will continue to play our role to see Nigeria fulfil her economic potential.
What will be your message at the event this year?
Mining is typically a long-term investment, and it is important to get it right from the beginning with proper analysis and appropriate equipment. Panafrican Equipment is ever-ready to support in this regard.
