Pre-implementationWater For Development (Water4Dev) is a youth-led community-based organization that is tackling complex WASH issues affecting underserved communities using social innovation. Operating in Burundi with a core mission to improve access to safe water. For our project, we produce residual chlorine by electrolysis. It is affordable at a price of 1500 fbu per liter. The latter can be used at water sources using locally manufactured chlorine dispensers or at home in a bottle with a graduated cap.
