Early revenueTuwe Bora Limited is a Kenyan circular textile company turning textile waste into useful products and green jobs.
We collect textile waste from garment manufacturers, sort it, and convert usable materials into upcycled products, recycled textile inputs, and finished goods for corporate, institutional, and retail buyers. Our focus is simple: help manufacturers manage textile waste responsibly while creating marketable products and employment opportunities for women and youth.
Tuwe Bora already operates a training and production facility in Kitengela, has generated approximately USD 23,000 in annual revenue, and is linked to over 12 garment manufacturers seeking credible textile waste offtakers under extended producer responsibility requirements. We are also a member of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers textile sector.
Our growth opportunity is driven by three trends: increasing textile waste, rising demand for sustainable products, and stronger pressure on manufacturers to prove responsible waste management. Tuwe Bora sits at the center of this opportunity by offering a practical waste-to-value solution with both commercial and social impact.
Over the next phase, we are scaling from upcycling and production into a structured textile recovery model, supported by technical product development and machinery for processing waste into higher-value materials. Our vision is to become Kenya’s leading circular textile recovery and green manufacturing company.
