Overview

TFS Cargo Bicycles is building Africa’s first productive mobility infrastructure through affordable, locally engineered electric-assisted cargo bicycles and a connected digital platform. We address a critical gap in first and last-mile logistics, where farmers, traders, delivery riders, MSMEs, waste collectors, and other underserved users face high transportation costs, unreliable access, and vehicles that are poorly suited to African operating conditions.

Our hardware portfolio has evolved from a single prototype into six specialized mobility platforms: IMUS, ABEE, ITOS, OMOH, AYORE, and IM, designed for applications ranging from agriculture and logistics to waste management and inclusive mobility. Our vehicles are engineered for heavy payloads, rugged terrain, local repairability, and cost-efficient operation, with modular configurations that allow us to customize solutions for different industries and customer needs.

Our digital infrastructure, SONORA, extends the value of our hardware beyond transportation. It connects mobility with distributed energy delivery, circular waste collection and recycling, and financial inclusion. Through connected vehicles and operational data, SONORA enables fleet management, energy access, predictive maintenance, and green credit profiles that can help underserved users access financing and working capital.

Our vision is to make productive mobility accessible across Africa, transforming transportation from a cost and infrastructure constraint into an engine for economic opportunity.

Why Investing

1
Purpose-Built for African Markets
TFS develops rugged, electric-assisted cargo bicycles engineered for rough roads, heavy loads, long operating hours, and commercial use—serving as income-generating tools for farmers, traders, MSMEs, and delivery operators.
2
Flexible & Locally Manufactured Platform
A modular vehicle design supports multiple applications, including agriculture, trading, deliveries, and waste collection. Local manufacturing enables rapid adaptation, product improvement, and development of local technical skills.
3
Integrated Mobility-as-a-Service Ecosystem
Through SONORA, TFS goes beyond vehicle sales by integrating battery services, fleet management, digital payments, financing, leasing, and subscriptions, creating accessible mobility solutions and opportunities for recurring revenue.
