Bankable FeasibilityThe Purple Line Project is one of the six lines recommended by the Strategic Transport Master Plan. It extends between Lagos State and Ogun State. It is a 57km rail project to build the infrastructure (electrified rail track and sixteen (16) stations) to be powered by the national grid and an independent power plant (IPP). The Line is meant to support a modern, fast, and reliable rail commuter service between Redemption Camp (in Ogun State – a neighboring State) and Ojo. The Purple Line will integrate with the Red Line at Agege station, with the Blue Line at LASU station, and also with the Yellow Line at Iyana Ipaja and Isheri Osun stations, and further integrate with the bus, ferry, and feeder services along the corridor and shares two stations with the Blue Line to facilitate integration.
