Overview

BioPat Initiatives is a transformative circular economy project located in Enugu State, Southeast Nigeria, designed to tackle critical challenges in waste management, clean energy, agriculture, and food security. The project integrates anaerobic digestion, medical waste gasification, renewable power generation, climate-smart mechanized farming, and sustainable cattle ranching and dairy processing across 200 hectares.
Annually, BioPat will process over 365,000 tons of organic waste and 182,500 tons of medical waste, converting them into biomethane, Bio-CNG, Bio-LNG, biofertilizers, and biogenic CO₂, while generating >15MW of renewable energy. The initiative will also support large-scale crop cultivation and feed a dairy facility serving over 2,000 cattle, producing fresh milk and meat products for local markets.
By closing the loop between waste, energy, and agriculture, BioPat will prevent over 1 million tons of CO₂-equivalent emissions annually, enhance soil health and creates jobs

Why Investing

1
Integrated Circular Economy Model with Multi-Sector Revenue Streams
BioPat is not just a waste-to-energy project, it’s a holistic, scalable circular economy model combining anaerobic digestion, gasification, sustainable agriculture, livestock production, and clean energy generation. This integration creates multiple commercial revenue streams, including: • Biomethane for power generation via CCGT Bio-CNG for clean transport sector,Bio-LNG for clean cooking fuel. • Biofertilizers for agricultural markets • Fresh dairy and beef products from ranching and milk processing • Carbon credits. • Biogenic CO₂ and hydrogen monetization This diversified model reduces risk, increases return potential, and offers investors a stake in multiple fast-growing markets simultaneously.
2
Strong Climate Impact and Alignment with Global ESG and SDG Goals
BioPat is directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global impact investment frameworks. Its impact includes: • GHG reductions of over 700,000 tons CO₂-eq per year • Improved soil fertility and food security in a region with raising agricultural decline • Clean, decentralized energy access in underserved parts of Southeast Nigeria For climate investors, DFIs, and ESG-aligned funds, BioPat offers a measurable, scalable climate mitigation and adaptation platform with a strong sustainability narrative and carbon offset potential.
3
High Demand + Low Supply = Untapped Market Opportunity
Enugu State and Nigeria’s Southeast region have: • No existing large-scale dairy or waste-to-energy infrastructure • A population of over 15 million underserved people • Rising demand for affordable protein, clean energy, and sustainable farming inputs BioPat is positioned to serve this unmet demand with first-mover advantage. The initiative holds the potential to redefine waste management, energy security, and agri-livestock production in the region, making it a high-impact, high-potential investment opportunity in a largely untapped market.
