Implementation phaseAce Mobility is an inclusive transport startup providing accessible, affordable, and dignified mobility solutions for people with reduced mobility (PRMs) in Africa. With over 200 million Africans experiencing mobility challenges due to age, disability, or illness, our mission is to bridge the accessibility gap in public and private transport systems. We do this by sourcing and adapting hybrid and electric vehicles to accommodate wheelchairs and other assistive devices, then deploying them via a digital platform for safe and reliable transport.
Our services are designed around universal access—drivers are trained in caregiving, our vehicles offer ramp access, and users can book rides via our mobile app or call center. We currently serve elderly people, persons with disabilities, and students in inclusive schools.
Ace Mobility’s platform is scalable across emerging markets, and we aim to open-source key elements of our system for replication in other countries.
