KawiSafi II is a climate fund sponsored by Acumen and focused on low carbon technologies that meet the essential needs of growing African markets. Headquartered in Nairobi and operating across the continent, the fund is dedicated to scaling Africa’s most promising sustainable growth companies and generating outsized impact for both people and planet.

KawiSafi seeks to make a significant step-change in impact by investing at the nexus of climate and energy poverty, across the thematic verticals of Energy Transition, Energy Productivity, and Mobility & Logistics. The Fund will also invest in cross-cutting opportunities in Carbon Finance and Natural Solutions.
