Aurum finds more high-grade gold at Boundiali Project

July 30, 2025

Aurum Resources has reported more high-grade gold assay results from its ongoing diamond drilling campaign at the Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The company is steadily progressing towards completing a 100,000 m drill program scheduled for calendar year 2025.

Recent drilling at the BD and BST tenements—comprising 57 holes (13,837 m) and 14 holes (2,500 m), respectively—has returned significant gold intercepts across multiple zones, reinforcing the project’s robust potential. Key intercepts include:

  • BDT1: 6m at 30.68 g/t Au from 410m, including 1m grading 181.20 g/t Au
  • BDT2: Multiple intercepts, including 2m at 22.86 g/t Au from 297m
  • BDT3: 1.5m at 32.51 g/t Au from 155.5m
  • BST1: 11m at 3.31 g/t Au from 112m

These results confirm extensions of high-grade shoots and suggest that mineralisation remains open both along strike and at depth.

Aurum continues to deploy eight of its own diamond rigs at Boundiali, leveraging in-house drilling capability to drive cost-effective exploration and accelerate resource growth. The company plans two Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) updates this year to build on the existing 1.59-million-ounce resource base, with the first update imminent.

Parallel to exploration activities at Boundiali, Aurum is advancing a 30,000m drilling program at its Napié Gold Project, targeting an expansion of its current 0.87-million-ounce resource, with an updated MRE expected by year-end.

Aurum remains well-funded with approximately $46.9 million in cash and liquid assets, underpinning ongoing exploration and development activities.

Managing Director Dr Caigen Wang said, “It is my pleasure to announce further high-grade gold intercepts at the Boundiali project. This time at BDT1, where our drills hit 6m @ 30.68 g/t Au from 410m inc. 4m @ 45.91 g/t Au inc. 1m @ 181.20 g/t Au. This great result confirms extensions to north-plunging high-grade shoots at BDT1, and these remain open.

“Aurum is on track to complete 100,000m of diamond drilling at Boundiali in 2025. These new drill results from multiple deposits will be incorporated into our first MRE update, which we plan to release imminently, and build upon the current 1.59Moz Boundiali MRE. A second update, planned for late in CY25, will incorporate results from planned drilling at the BD, BM, and BST deposits, as well as numerous untested gold-in-soil anomalies. Aurum’s use of its own drill rigs, with our fleet of 10 rigs, provides for cost-effective and accelerated exploration, underpinning our objective of significant resource growth at Boundiali in 2025 and beyond, ultimately contributing to a pre-feasibility study expected by year-end,” said Wang.

“A 30,000m diamond drilling program is underway at the Napié project, targeting expansion of the current 0.87Moz MRE, with an updated MRE anticipated by year-end. With a combined 2.5Moz of gold across Boundiali and Napié, and substantial drilling programs now in play for both projects, Aurum is well-positioned for significant resource growth and further value creation in 2025.
