Phindile possesses a unique combination of experience and skills, including independent research, initiatives in developing innovative solutions, and a diverse array of technical abilities. Her professional journey spans multiple industries, including mining, the private sector, academia, government, entrepreneurship, and consulting. Phindile is an alumnus of the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and the University of South Africa (UNISA). She holds a Bachelor of Technology in Analytical Chemistry, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Sciences. She began her career as an intern at Exxaro Coal and Resources and has since advanced through a series of technical roles in the mining sector. She currently holds the position of Scientific Services Manager at Magalies Water Board. In addition to her primary responsibilities, she contributes as a part-time member of the Academic Board Committee at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). Furthermore, she chairs the TUT Faculty of Science Alumni Chapter and actively participates in the EWSETA Training Development Committee. She is also involved in entrepreneurial activities. In her current position, Phindile manages three key units within the water space: Analytical Services, Process Technology Innovation, and Research and Development. A vital contribution to achieving water quality compliance, emphasizing targeted optimisation and advanced interventions in response to the complex water security challenges associated with dynamic water resources.
