Ncubeko April is a Facilities Electrical Engineer at Isuzu Motors South Africa and an electrical engineering professional based in Nelson Mandela Bay. His experience provides an industrial energy-user perspective on the electrical infrastructure and operational requirements of a major manufacturing environment. Ncubeko has also been involved in collaborative infrastructure initiatives outside the plant environment, including the Struandale adopt-a-substation initiative, which brought local businesses and security partners together to help protect critical electricity infrastructure against vandalism and cable theft. He serves on the C&I Energy + Storage Summit Johannesburg Advisory Board, contributing the perspective of commercial and industrial electricity users to the programme.
