Nandha Govender is General Manager: Water and Environmental Operations at Eskom and is responsible for water security matters linked to the utility’s power generation activities. He has more than 23 years of management, leadership and non-executive directorship experience across water institutions and represents Eskom in collaborative water-sector initiatives, including the Strategic Water Partners Network. His work includes long-term water planning, integrated water management, water-use efficiency and environmental management associated with power generation. Nandha is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa, a Fellow and Certified Director with the Institute of Directors South Africa, and a Professional Certified Coach.
