Muhammed Patel is a Senior Economist at Trade & Industrial Policy Strategies, where his work focuses on sustainable development. His research covers the decarbonisation of existing value chains, the Just Transition and the development of new sustainable markets, including green hydrogen and bioplastics. Before joining TIPS, he worked in competition and regulatory economics at Genesis Analytics. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
