Mmotlana Kgoadi is a Partner at Webber Wentzel. She specialises in project development for project finance transactions, with particular expertise in the infrastructure sector. She has substantial experience in structuring the commercial agreements for such transactions as well as drafting and negotiating the operational arrangements, in particular, in respect of procurement and construction contracts, operation and maintenance contracts, power purchase and bespoke public private partnership agreements.
Mmotlana has assisted a diverse portfolio of clients including government departments, and state-owned and private sector entities, on the application of environmental law and its principles on infrastructure development projects and operational matters pertaining to certain business sectors and projects largely affected by environmental law required approvals/ permits.
Her expertise has been recognised by international research organisations including The Legal 500.
She holds an LLB degree and a P.Dip (Environmental Law) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
