Chabisi Motloung leads operational strategy and execution at Seriti Green as Chief Operating Officer. With more than 20 years of leadership experience across the mining, metals and energy sectors, he has held senior roles at Kumba Iron Ore, Samancor Chrome, Afarak Group, Jubilee Metals Group and Glencore Alloys.
His expertise spans operational excellence, strategic management, governance, organisational culture and diversity, equity and inclusion. He has a proven track record of leading complex operations, driving business performance and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, organised labour and communities.
At Seriti Green, Chabisi is responsible for driving the successful delivery and performance of the company’s growing renewable energy portfolio as projects progress from development into construction, commissioning and operation. He oversees the integration of technical, commercial, regulatory and stakeholder requirements, while supporting the development of systems and processes needed to scale the business and participate in South Africa’s evolving electricity market. His focus is on ensuring disciplined execution, operational reliability and the delivery of renewable energy projects that contribute to the country’s Just Energy Transition and long-term energy security.
