Promote global competitiveness of exports through the expansion of markets for South African goods and services to encourage trade and investment activities in the continent.

Solution:

DRC Mining Week’s  platform is an opportunity for local and international to network, exchange best practices, get first-hand vital information, to export their products and services, to find local partners, to maximise their reach and exposure. DRC Mining Week is the ideal business platform for South Africa to increase business relationships with the DRC and to increase their foothold in the country and the SADC region.

Results

We help Dti develop the DRC export market. “South Africa is the DRC’s biggest exporter of foreign goods and services, providing more than 25 percent of the DRC’s total imports. South Africa’s investments into the DRC have been in the mining, services, the retail, finance and communications sectors,” (African News Agency)
