The Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) is the umbrella professional and scientific organization for mining and mineral processing engineers, metallurgists and geoscientists in the solid minerals, oil and gas, water and the environment sectors of the Nigerian economy.
The NMGS published a learned academic Journal of Mining and Geology (JMG). The journal contains per reviewed articles and have contributed in no small measure to the advancement of the frontier of geoscience and mining engineering education in the country.
Nigeria is a key emerging destination in the African mining ecosystem, and Nigeria Mining Week is where professionals go to create new opportunities and connections within the industry.
