The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) is one of the specialist sections of the NBA, set up primarily to engender the professional development of Nigerian commercial lawyers, thereby raising the level of business law practice in Nigeria.

The Section has at its apex, a Council which is currently chaired by Dr. Adeoye Adefulu with twelve (12) other members; and twenty-four (24) sector focused Committees established to cover existing and new areas of commercial law, with a view to enhancing commercial law practice among Nigerian lawyers and Law firms.
