With a rare bravery KAM Holding confronted the challenges of manufacturing with a unique entrepreneurial ingenuity, assembled the best Plant, machinery and Equipment, some of which were fabricated locally, recruited a crop of committed and hard-working staff and courted and won the trust of some of the most conservative financial institutions in Nigeria to set up a manufacturing Octopus which within ten years of productive activity became the leading producer of Liquid Steel and wire products in Nigeria.
A company within the Holding is the first Nigerian Manufacturing Company to produce Galvanized Roofing Nails and through Vertical Integration became the flagbearer of Cold Roll Milling in Nigeria. The Cold-Roll Coils are further processed into Plain and Colored Roofing Sheets of International Standards.
Within the Holding, we have the first African Company to build the largest Integrated Cold Roll Steel Mill Complex, fully automated factory.
Our steel manufacturing technology, the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) is the only one of its type in Africa and remains the most modern and effective way of producing high quality steel, both in physical and metallurgical properties.
This trail blazing company is one of the largest employers of labor in Nigeria, with a total number of 11,600 direct and indirect workers.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1) KAM Holding through its founder established an Entrepreneurial Fund at the Kwara State University (KWASU) with revolving loan for students.
2) Has intervened in paying for medical interventions for indigent ailing Nigerians both at home and abroad.
3) KAM Holding in it sports promotion drive set up a football club known as the KAM FC, Ilorin.
4) Supply of Electricity Transformers to Osere Community in Ilorin Metropolis and Jimba-Oja, the host community of the KAM Steel Integrated Company Limited in Jimba town.
5) Flooding of the Jimba community with street lights in its nooks and crannies.
