Yumnaa Firfirey currently heads up the economic development advisory firm, Towards Uhuru | Exploring Shared Prosperity, and is a contributor to INSPIRE, working across several Independent Power Producers to support collaboration, innovation and the scaling up of strategic socio-economic projects in Southern Africa. Yumnaa has had a diverse career in business, government, partnership organisations and as an entrepreneur, in South Africa and abroad. She has established businesses and partnerships in the areas of economic and enterprise development, tourism, design, sustainability, renewable energy and is the co-founder of the Western Cape Economic Development Partnership, the EDP.
