Vinesh was recently appointed Vice President of Product and Solutions for Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) in May 2022. In this role, Vinesh leads the SSA Regional Product and Solutions teams to accelerate cash digitization across SSA. His responsibilities include Core Products, Digital Solutions and Value added Solutions across the SSA markets.
Vinesh has a 8 year tenure at Visa, previously serving as the SSA regional Head of Business Planning & Operations (BPO) and prior to that, Head of Affluent portfolio within the Visa Solutions Organisation. In his role as BPO, he directly supported the SSA Group Country Manager (GCM) to facilitate achievement of the regions strategy, planning and operational requirements. In his role as Head of Affluent, he was instrumental in driving the affluent propositions across the region.
Prior to joining Visa, Vinesh spent 7 years in the banking industry in various roles from Marketing and Product Management. Vinesh also spent 3 years in the insurance industry as Head of Product Management, managing various portfolios for direct to consumer businesses. Vinesh is known for being a highly collaborative leader, resourceful and goal-oriented.
Vinesh received a High National Diploma in Business with Marketing from West Herts College in the UK. He also obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Business Administration specializing in Strategy and Operations from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
