Advisory board

Tshego Neeuwfan has joined The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), an energy sector catalytic funder. GEAPP has an interest in unlocking investments in the electricity supply industry in SA and its other focus countries.

Tshego was previously Deputy Chief of Party – Technical for the Southern Africa Energy Program, a Power Africa Initiative. In this role he oversaw the program’s technical workstreams which are aimed at increasing new power generation in the region, increasing access to electricity and improving the enabling environment that facilitates these.

Tshego studied electrical engineering. He previously worked for the national power utility in South Africa as a distribution system asset design engineer and in various other roles and briefly for a management consulting firm before joining SAEP.
