Todd Micklethwaite is currently responsible for the business strategy and impact of Sanlam Investments’ Alternatives offering, across private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure capabilities.  Todd works with institutional investors to access alternative investment opportunities across Africa and other emerging markets, helping to direct capital to where it can have a meaningful and sustainable long-term impact. Todd has over 25 years’ experience within financial services, having started his career as an actuarial analyst with Alexforbes.  Prior to joining Sanlam Investments in 2014, Todd spent over a decade as an investment consultant with Aon in the United Kingdom.
