An ever-evolving mineral resource professional, Tim has, over the past 19 years, participated in a global pipeline of development and production projects across 14 countries on 3 continents and in capacities spanning field roles to executive management. This journey has been with publicly listed, privately held, and vertically integrated companies as well as foreign governments.
Owing to his strong working knowledge of various ore types in the Precambrian terrains of West Africa and shear-hosted mineralized systems in Birman-aged rocks, Tim’s range of technical lead encompasses the discovery of mineralization on greenfields through to commercial and sustainable production. In 2015, tim shifted his attention to Nigeria where he has designed and led technical programmes that de-risked assets and provided advice to a myriad of his and investment houses. His focus has been on precious metals, battery metals and energy metals.
Tim possesses a high degree of skill in property development which includes rehabilitating historic mining properties or advancing late-stage exploration projects into producers. He sits on the board of 5 exploration companies and 1 drilling services contractor and has advisory roles with 3 publicly listed juniors operating in the battery metals space in central and east Africa.
