Thabo Kabini is an experienced Engineering Professional, Scientist and Banker with 17 years’ experience in the Water and sanitation sector obtained through working at City of Cape Town, ERWAT, Joburg Water, City of Ekurhuleni, Overberg Water Board and the IDC, in his current role as a Senior Specialist for Water Infrastructure at the IDC , he is responsible for sector analysis and development financing of water infrastructure in SA and Rest of Africa. Professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), a Water institute of Southern Africa (WISA) and South African Institute of Mechanical Engineering (SAIMechE ) member ,Thabo holds a Mech engineering Degree (BTech Mech Eng) , Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Philosophy in Integrated Water Resource Management (MPhil IWRM).
