Sherrill Byrne is an Executive in the Energy and Infrastructure Finance Team in Investment Banking at Standard Bank. Sherrill has been with the Bank for 18 years and is concerned an
energy expert and project finance specialist. She has worked on transactions in multiple jurisdictions in the energy and infrastructure sectors including South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Mozambique, Zambia and Eswatini.
In the power sector, Sherrill has led and closed deals in the thermal (HFO and gas) as well as renewable (wind, solar, hydro, BESS hybrid and BESS standalone) subsectors. These transactions
are also for multitude of off-takers including utilities, mines, traders and large corporates. In the infrastructure space, transactions include gas pipelines, roads and accommodation PPPs.
