Sakhile is the business development manager at SolarAfrica Energy (SAE), a leading solar PV project developer supporting South African businesses transition to clean and sustainable energy consumption. As part of the SAE’s Commercial team, Sakhile is involved in catalysing new business opportunities into data-driven, customer-centric solutions for corporates and industry. With a background in sales and business development, Sakhile has held various roles in software implementation, energy efficiency, electric mobility, utilities management and solar PV over the last 15 years. Sakhile holds a Master’s degree from the Wits Business School African Energy Leadership Centre and a certificate in Sustainability and Climate Risk from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
