Rukaiya leads the Sustainability & Climate Change practice and the Public Sector Risk
Assurance Services at PwC Nigeria. She holds an MPA in Public Policy & Management from
the prestigious London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and the Hertie School
of Governance, Berlin. Rukaiya’s expertise, include, developing inclusive strategies for the
public and private sectors in Nigeria on integrating sustainability and achieving the broader
sustainable development agenda. She led the PwC engagement team that developed the
federal guidelines for the incorporation of responsible sourcing into the artisanal and smallscale gold mining value chain in Nigeria.
