Romain Battajon is currently ERG Africa’s General Counsel. 

Previously, Romain was practicing as an attorney at Law, first in Paris (from 2005 to 2014) and then in Kinshasa (from 2014 to early 2023), where he was the managing partner of the DRC office of DALDEWOLF, a major Belgian Law Firm. 

Besides, Romain Battajon is the Chairman of the Legal Commission of the DRC Chamber of Mines since January 2023, Secretary General of the Congolese Association of Directors (Association des Administrateurs du Congo, ADAC) since 2021 and a member of the Board of Director of the French-Congolese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFC) since 2022.
