Reitumetse is the Head of Sustainability at RFG Foods. She was previously the Environment Unit Head at the National Business Initiative (NBI). Before joining the NBI, Reitumetse worked at the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, (DFFE), Climate Change Branch, as the Director: Mitigation Response Analysis and Director: Climate Change Near-term Priority Programmes.

As the director for South Africa’s Mitigation Response Analysis, Reitumetse has led the review, analysis and reporting of progress in the implementation and effects of key mitigation actions to South African and international audiences, including mandatory reporting obligations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Prior to her government experience, Reitumetse was the Senior Manager for Climate Change at EY and Senior Consultant at Camco Clean Energy.

Reitumetse has an MSc from Imperial College, London and BSc from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Reitumetse has been on the UNFCCC Roster of Experts since 2015. These experts are nominated by their respective Governments through the National Focal Points of the Parties under the UNFCCC.
