Mbembo Bemba is seasoned professional banker with over 10 years banking experience that cuts across full spectrum of banking sector with particular focus on the mining sector in DRC.
Following his completion of a Masters Degree from the American Business School in Paris, Mbembo returned to the Democratic Republic of Congo where he worked with the two largest banks (BIAC and RawBank), rising up to occupy senior roles ranging from Project Management, Client Coverage to Business Development.
Mbembo subsequently joined Standard Bank in the Grand Katanga Region in DRC, the heart of the planet’s richest Copper and Cobalt reserves where he led Standard Bank’s mining portfolio.
Mbembo is currently the Regional Director of Katanga for First Bank DRC looking after the corporate, business / commercial, public sector and mining portfolios.
