Ms Mahlatsi Mgidi is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in government with a strong background in developmental financing; enterprise development; innovation and technology ideation, and investment facilitation.

She currently serves as the Manager for Government and Stakeholder Liaison for Invest SA: Energy One Stop Shop at the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition. In this role, she drives the strategic framework to advance renewable energy projects and developments through ensuring implementation of the relevant Government regulatory requirements and fosters collaboration across diverse stakeholders in the renewable energy eco system.

As a Master of Business Administration holder and with exposure to South Africa’s economic policies, Ms Mgidi’s deep understanding of the country’s economic landscape and economic matters across industries enables her to lead impactful initiatives and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms Mgidi is actively involved in social entrepreneurship within her community, displaying her commitment to creating positive change.
