Louis is an infrastructure finance and investment professional with over 15 years’ experience in project finance, business planning and strategy, and capital raising. To date, Louis has managed deal flow in Ghana in excess of US$2 billion in energy, downstream oil & gas, and transport infrastructure as well as waste, water & sanitation, and healthcare. Louis currently works with the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund as a Senior Investment Officer. 

Prior to that, he was the Head of Corporate Finance & Advisory at Jospong Group of Companies (Ghana’s largest holding company) with responsibilities for developing a pipeline of good quality investment opportunities, evaluating, structuring, negotiating and closing new transaction, portfolio restructurings, equity sales etc.  

He previously worked for Merson Capital Limited as the Transaction Advisory Manager where he executed corporate strategy in respect of deal flow and capital raising. At Merson, he was transaction advisor to TAG Thermal Plant, Bulk Oil Storage & Transport Company Limited (BOST) and Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) in their capital investment programmes.. 

Other positions held include Head of Corporate Finance of KBL Venture Capital (a PE Fund), and Analyst at Main Investments Limited.  

He holds MPhil and Bachelor of Arts in Economics with specialisations in Corporate Finance, Banking and Taxation from the University of Ghana, and is a certified Investment professional by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Ghana.
