Lebogang serves as the Executive Vice President, Energy & Strategy Enablement at Standard Bank of South Africa. She is responsible for the South African Energy sector within Client
Coverage, as well as overseeing the implementation of the Energy & Infrastructure sector strategic initiatives within Standard Bank. Her experience spans over 9 years in Standard Bank
having covered roles including those in credit risk and deal transacting in corporate and investment banking.

Lebogang Buthelezi also has industry experience having spent seven years at TotalEnergies, where she gained extensive experience in Downstream operations. During this time, when the
company was transitioning from a pure Oil major to a major Energy provider, Lebogang held various roles and made significant contributions to the company’s operations in Africa. She is a Chartered Accounted and holds honours degrees in Finance and Economics.
