Hubert Ruzibiza Climate Finance Advisor/Entrepreneur/ Director Hubert is a climate finance advisor and supports various public and private sector efforts in Africa including International Organizations such as the UNDP, REEEP and the Africa Green Infrastructure Investment Bank (AfGIIB) in mobilizing resources, structuring green investment vehicles and facilitating countries in their transition in the green economy. He previously was the Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda Green Fund in which he spearheaded the development of new climate finance programs and instruments, which positioned the Fund globally and received the UN Climate Action Award in the Financing For Climate Friendly Investment category. He spent the last 15 years between public and private sector in Rwanda and overseas. Before joining the Fund he had started his own investment Advisory Impactis Capital and before was as Senior Manager at the Rwanda Development Board where he developed successful value proposition for Financial Services and Healthcare sectors. He is a board Director at the National University Hospital (CHU) and an International Board advisor at the Coalition for Green Capital and a Partner with the Africa Energy Transition Services (AETS). He holds a Bachelor in International Business & Finance from the Fox School of Business, a Master in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and attended Executive Education at Said Business School Oxford University
