Gori Olusina Daniel, Managing Partner, Africa PPP Advisory Services
Gori trained as a Business Economist and, over the last 20 years, has developed a career as a highly-skilled transactions advisor to governments, multi-laterals and private companies, having completed a range of research, policy, transaction advisory, and strategy assignments with Deloitte, IMC Worldwide, the World Bank, African Development Bank, the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Development Office, and Transport for London.
He currently serves on the Technical Advisory Panel of the UK-funded High-Volume Transport Applied Research Programme as the technical lead on the Access to Climate Finance Research Programme. Given his rich and varied experience, Gori is recognised as a thought leader on Public Private Partnerships and Infrastructure Finance. And has contributed towards raising $120 billion for the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and concession projects such as the London Oyster smartcard and Cross rail, as well as a number of Road, Bus Rapid Transit, Rail, Renewable Energy, Real Estate, and Human & Institutional Capacity Development projects across the UK, Asia, and Africa.
As Project Manager for Transport for London’s 2007 Corporate Spending Review, Gori was a member of the team that secured £80bn for investment in London’s transport infrastructure and contributed to the development of the socio-economic analysis and Transport Plans that supported the successful delivery of the 2012 Olympic Games.
