Emmanuella Ngororano

Communications advisor

Emmanuella Ngororano is responsible for AMDA’s internal and external communication and advises on outreach. Her role entails the promotion of AMDA’s efforts and success as well as AMDA’s members’ work and achievements. She acts as a liaison between AMDA, the public, and the media to ensure that the organization delivers relevant, strategic and engaging information and content.

 

Emmanuella Ngororano brings to AMDA more than 7 years of experience in supporting multiple projects with medium to high complexity and is well versed in enhancing stakeholders’ engagements within the NGO Sector in Africa. She has worked with African Development Bank where she supported the internal recruitment process as part of the restructuring project of the  Human Resources Complex. Before joining AMDA, she was leading the communications efforts of Africa Christian Health Associations Platform (ACHAP), a Panafrican platform working to achieve  Health for All by 2030 (SDG3) where she implemented a UNAIDS funded project in DRC, promoted member engagement and networking, built and managed strategic partnerships including donor relations, organized both local & international events/conferences, managed online activities and designed content to actively engage both English and French speaking members.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications for Development from Light University of Burundi and certificates in public management, in the principles of resource mobilization, partnerships and networking awarded by YALI Network and earned recently a specialization in Coaching skills for managers with UC Davis, University of California. She is also an alumna and a member of the YALI Network (Young African Leaders Initiative).
